I haven't been off to a very good start this year keeping this blog updated, have I?

Well, we are half way through May and I can't believe we are already 5 months into 2010. This year is flying by!

Let's see... Easter egg hunt at school

May is also Parker's last month at Murray Hill Baptist for daycare. He starts summer camp at RPDS on June 1st and then starts Pre-K at RPDS in August!I went to school at RPDS also so I still can't believe I am going to be taking my baby to school there every day. Time flies!

We also have swimming lessons coming up every Saturday morning in June and July. Parker is pretty excited to start those and so is Mommy...

Then, the first weekend in September we are heading off to the Watercolor Resort for the week. Dave and I are finally getting married. We will officially be the Holmes family!

It's going to be a fun and busy summer!

2010!

My first post of 2010! I am SO behind! I need to post pictures of Christmas but just haven't gotten around to retrieving them off of Dave's new camera (christmas present)!

In the mean time here are some silly pics of another exciting event...Dave proposed Christmas Day! We're finally getting married! yay!

Thanksgiving in Mississippi

We left Jacksonville Wednesday 11/25 at 5:00AM and headed to Brooksville, MS to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with Dave's side of the family. On the way, we stopped at a John Deere dealership (Dave's client) in Alabama.

We stayed at Aunt Esther's house in Brooksville which was abosulutely beautiful.

Thanksgiving Day we headed to William & Michelle's house in Starkville about 30 minutes away..

Of course Dave and William went hunting the day after Thanksgiving. Dave shot 2 deer and William shot three! So needless to say, we came home with a cooler full of deer meat!! woo hoo!

I didn't get any pictures of them with their deer because they cleaned them out where they were hunting but I got a few pics of William's friend 9 pt. buck and Parker checking it out...Needless to say, I got about 20 questions later that night about why that deer was dead ( "was it a nice deer, mama?" " Did it have a boo boo?") LOL!!

Our first set of pumpkins, last weekend. Dave carved the large pumpkin. Parker drew a face on the smaller one and helped me carve it out. How cute is his little pumpkin!? : )
